Snufflesaur

The snufflesaur is a large creature that loves to eat the faye creatures of the forest where they originate. This is one of Andrew's least favorite creatures.

First introduced in Not Friend. Listen here.

Snufflesaur

Overview: The snufflesaurus is an ancient creature older than the fey themselves. They mostly feed on fairies, but will eat other faye, and even other creatures, if they can’t find suitable food. Typically carnivores, they are vicious creatures who feed on anything they can find. They look a lot like a triceratops with three horns and a crown ringing their heads, but they’re covered in fluff. This fluff has been reported as very fluffy fur that covers their body. It gets thicker in fall and sheds heavily during spring. Their spikes, running the length of their back and tail, and small wings are often hidden in this dense fluff. As an ancient, this creature’s fur and saliva has magical properties that have a variety of uses. Their snot has also been reported to have magical properties, but the information on this is vague. Saliva has sedative properties if licked, which are very effective on faye.

Description: Pink/purple fluff around their head, arms, and the end of the tail. A triceratop crown lays just behind its head and it’s large horns stretch forward, ranging from 6 inches to almost 2 feet. The horn on their nose is typically short and wide. Wings sprout from their back, but the wings are too small to fly. Small spikes run down a young snufflesaurs back and tail, but the spikes break off as they age.
